Privacy policy

No account, no cookies, no tracking
WeatherPlus has no user accounts and sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Settings kept in your browser
A few display choices are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device only: light or dark mode, and how the hours of a forecast are shown. While a page is open, a fresh forecast may also be kept in its session storage for a few minutes. Nothing of this is sent to us; your browser settings can clear it at any time.
Searches
The city search runs in your browser on a list downloaded with the page: what you type is not sent anywhere.
Services your browser contacts
To show live data, your browser connects to: the Open-Meteo API (fresh forecasts on city pages), EUMETSAT (satellite images on the weather map) and jsDelivr (the map software). Like any website, these services receive your IP address and the usual technical details of the request; their own privacy policies apply.
Hosting
The site is a set of static pages served by its host, which may keep standard server logs (IP address, page requested, date) for security and operation.
